TELIYA International Society prepared the annual Yukon African Music Festival. For 2023 the event was hosted at Mount McIntyre Recreation Centre in Whitehorse, and at the Haa Shagóon Hidi Hall in Carcoss. 2022 Yukon African Music Festival
In August 27 & 28, 2022, TELIYA International Society hosted the 2022 Yukon African Music Festival at the MacBride Museum, Whitehorse and the Watson Lake Recreation Centre, Watson Lake. The events had live music, presentations, workshops, DJ Music Demo, Kids arts & crafts, drumming, and dancing. It was an experience catered for the whole family.
